Priveo is an iPhone and iPad app that runs entirely on your device. It has no user accounts, no servers of its own, and includes no advertising, analytics or third-party SDKs.
Data collection
Priveo collects no data. It does not collect, transmit or sell your documents, and does not use them for advertising or tracking. The app makes no network connections.
Storage
Documents, scanned pages, recognized text and saved signatures are stored only on your device, using iOS file protection, and are excluded from device backups. Deleting the app permanently removes that data.
Permissions
- Camera: used only to scan documents.
- Photos: only the images you explicitly pick to add to a document are used.
- Face ID / Touch ID: optional, only to lock access to the app. Authentication is performed by iOS; Priveo never accesses your biometric data.
Sharing
When you export or share a document you use the iOS share sheet and choose the destination yourself. From that point on, the file is governed by the privacy policy of the service or app you picked.
Children
Priveo is not directed to children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, this page and its date will be updated. Material changes will also be noted on the App Store listing.
Contact
You can reach me through the contact form on this site.
Two things worth separating: the app collects nothing at all, as explained above. The contact form on this website does receive whatever you choose to write in it, including your email address.
Those messages are stored in this site's database and forwarded to my inbox through Brevo, the delivery provider I use. They are used only to reply to you, are never shared with anyone else, and are never used for advertising. They are kept for a maximum of one year and then deleted automatically. You can ask me to delete your message sooner at any time.
To prevent automated spam, a cryptographic hash of your IP address is also stored — not the address itself — which only makes it possible to count how many submissions come from the same origin.
