Why it is different

Privacy is not a setting.
It is the architecture.

Most scanners upload your documents to the cloud to process them. Priveo cannot: there is nowhere to send them.

Everything on device

Scanning, filters and text recognition all run on your device. Nothing is processed elsewhere.

No servers

The app makes no network connections at all. There is no backend to send anything to, not even by mistake.

Genuinely protected

iOS file encryption, excluded from backups, and permanently deleted when you uninstall.

Your photos say more
than you think.

A phone photo stores where it was taken, on which device and at what exact time, and a PDF carries the name of whoever wrote it. Priveo shows you everything they contain and gives you a copy without it before you share.

  • You choose what goes

    Location, date, camera, author, software, AI origin: one checkbox per group, or everything at once.

  • No loss of quality

    JPEG, HEIC and PNG photos aren't recompressed: the copy is pixel-identical, HDR included.

  • PDFs too

    Author, apps, dates, comments and the location of the photos inside the PDF.

  • From the Photos app

    Share → Remove metadata, and the clean copy goes back to your library without opening Priveo.

  • Checked before it's handed over

    Every copy is analysed again. If anything you asked to remove were left, it isn't saved.

AI labels and Content Credentials (C2PA) are metadata and are removed like the rest. The invisible watermarks some generators put in the pixels are not, and Priveo leaves them alone.
